CULTURAL BLUEPRINT FOR HEALTH

Since 2014, IDEAS xLab has worked  on innovative arts + culture projects that helped us understand health in a new way. This work resulted in (1) a different kind of practice and research framework for training artists to support community health and (2) a methodology for organizing a community's arts + culture assets into evidence based frameworks.

Reducing social isolation, Increasing social connectivity and community capacity building toward more equitable policy making that improves health for the most people are the core elements of a new kind of transdisciplinary health approach called Center for Art + Health Innovation. (CAHI)

CAHI's primary research initiative through 2020 is Project HEAL (Health. Equity. Art. Learning). Click here to learn more.
